In 2019, I built a thriving online coaching business.

And most importantly, a generous salary that showed up in full and on time, every time.

 

By every traditional definition, I had made the right decision.

 

But something still felt off.

So in August of 2025, in the margins of a full-time job and full life, I started building again.

 

Now I wasn’t building out of urgency. I was building out of awareness.

 

Then, on March 4, 2026 the call came.

 

It was first thing in the morning. A 15-minute calendar block. By the end of it: my dependable on time income and the job I loved was gone.

 

I had no warning. I had no control. All I had was a single decision made by “senior leadership” that dictated the next season of my life.
